About Us

Formally known as Lothian Autistic Society, Branch Out Together are the provider of social activities for children and young people with autism throughout Edinburgh and The Lothians. We offer a supportive and understanding learning environment, and weekly events where the children can try new activities that are stimulating and challenging.

These activities help them to gain coping skills while having fun and building friendships with their peers.  Our aim is to help children and young people on the autism spectrum to be confident, to lead full and enriched lives, and to support families in their caring role. 

Our aim is to provide children and young people a safe, secure and nurturing environment where they can make friends, have fun and be themselves. All of the Branch Out Together team are passionate about delivering services that are holistic and individual, allowing everyone to get the most out of each opportunity. Our services help children and young people improve their communication with adults and their peers, enhance their ability to do tasks independently and increase their confidence in trying new things. Our vision is a community where children, young people and their families feel welcome, supported and understood.
